Special Days At Nursery

Every month we hold an ‘event’ day at nursery - this could be anything from celebrating a festival such as Christmas or Diwali or just a fun day such as Snow White & The Seven Dwarves or Nursery Rhyme Day.

The nursery is often decorated and the activities are themed throughout the day. Most of the days involve optional dressing up - we will normally guide you so that it doesn’t become complicated or expensive. The staff dress up on the day too and the nursery food may be themed accordingly.

Each year we invite parents to make suggestions to our event days at nursery so that they are varied from year to year.

Parent’s Evenings

We hold parents’ evenings twice a year for all age groups. One evening is normally a presentation evening with information on Free Entitlement, Early Years Foundation Stage, and School Transitions. We also are supported with this event by professionals such as Oral Dental Hygienists, Paediatricians & Paediatric Dieticians for you as parents to take the opportunity to find out about the latest information about children in their Early Years. As this evening is more informal, we give you the opportunity to look around the nursery again and ask any questions you may have.

The other evening is a more formal 10 minutes slot with your child’s key person to discuss their learning and development together with any concerns or queries you may have.
